From the red carpet to down the aisle the Golden Globes offer inspiration to brides-to-be
There's something magical about a night where a gown can take center stage. Aside from awards shows, weddings are another time when this is the case. The dress a bride wears on her wedding day is something she usually dreams about her entire life – and it is always the star of the Big Day.
So how can you incorporate the glamour of an award show into your wedding? Luckily, a large amount of the designers that dress the stars during award season also have bridal collections. Sometimes, they even send their clients down the red carpet in a bridal white look – giving even more inspiration to a starry-eyed bride.
Last night, the 74th annual Golden Globe Awards kicked off with multiple red carpet live broadcasts. Two colors stood out as celeb favorites: pink and yellow. However, the real star was bridal white. A few of our favorites included Gina Rodriguez, Issa Rae and Drew Barrymore. Many of these looks were created by designers who have also mastered the bridal world. This gives brides that may not be in the Hollywood spotlight the chance to have their own red carpet moment.
