Closings: Bustles & Bows Shutters Metairie Bridal Boutique
A message from the store's Instagram account on its final day.
Tuesday, July 26, Bustles & Bows Bridal Boutique announced on social media that it was closing its doors.
The bridal store, located on Severn Avenue in Metairie, served brides in Jefferson Parish for years, carrying a plethora of popular designers such as Jasmine Bridal and Sophia Tollli, along with hosting trunk shows from designers like Kenneth Winston.
This marks the second bridal store in Metairie to suddenly close within the past year. Linda Lee Bridal abruptly closed last September leaving brides and their friends and family in a frenzy.
In a brief phone call with a Bustles & Bows employee, LTEC learned that the owner announced in May that she would be closing the doors come July due to personal reasons.
The store continues to stay in operation specifically for brides and customers finishing out their orders and picking up their gowns.
Customers have continued to leave messages of support, encouragement and best wishes on the boutique’s social media pages.
P.S. Wediquette Wednesday will return next week.
