Modern Love, Part 4: La Thai

The city of New Orleans is full of surprises. So, it should come as no surprise that in the midst of the city's vast historical background there are modern locations and buildings that lend themselves to those looking to switch up their "I Do." In the current issue of New Orleans Bride Magazine, Marie Simoneaux gathered a list of nine contemporary spaces around the city that are sure to provide a chic backdrop for any Big Day.

In part one, we rode down Magazine Street to Il Mercato, stopped by Emeril's Delmonico in part two, and last week we headed to the CBD for The Chicory

This week we are highlighting a Prytania Street gem, La Thai. See our previous "Location Spotlight" on La Thai here

La Thai

The main draw of this Uptown eatery is just that: the food. La Thai is modern, with crisp colors and minimalist fixtures and serves distinctive and delicious Thai-fusion cuisine. The newly renovated restaurant offers a private room for parties as well as an outdoor courtyard space. Ceremonies and receptions are easily accommodated, but La Thai is most popular for rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and engagement parties.
