Registry Report: Kate Spade dinnerware collections for every couple

It was reported today, June 5, that designer Kate Spade has died of an apparent suicide. Today's blog will be a repost of a previously reported "Let Them Eat Cake" piece on our favorite Kate Spade dinnerware design options for couples.

Known more exclusively for her women’s wear and handbags, designer Kate Spade has brought her preppy, Upper East Side chic style to consumer’s dinner and tableware. Bold, vibrant blues and muted, neutral colors allow for multiple options to fit every couple.

Her Charlotte Street East, West and North collections are the loudest of the group, but employ a combination of designs such as bold stripes and an artistic swirl pattern.

Spade’s Cypress Point and Sugar Pointe Collections offer a less outlandish option for couples looking to add simple china to their dinner collection. Sleek lines and options of gold or silver give off a sophisticated, classic style.

The Parker Place collection is perfect for the couple looking for the preppiness of the Charlotte Street Collection, but the classic style of the Cypress Point and Sugar Pointe Collections. The hint of pale blue adds in that extra touch of color, while the lined salad plate adds the fun pattern – simple and classic.

Kate Spade dinnerware also includes plate sets, serving trays and accent plates not included in the collections, but that add a certain compliment to each. These items will bring together the whole table ensemble while adding fun elements to surprise your guests .

These Kate Spade collections are a display piece almost as much as a dinnerware option. Their clean lines and neutral colors mesh with other bolder hues possibly displayed throughout a couple’s home or act as the perfect accent to any celebratory dinner party.

You can find Kate Spade dinnerware locally at Dillard’s and Macy’s with some additional items at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Adler’s
