The perfect flowers for your spring wedding
Yesterday, March 20, was the first day of the spring season. Besides pastels and seersucker, the most notorious part of the season is the spring flowers. If you're planning a spring wedding, how do you know you have picked the appropriate seasonal flora?
In the early days of Let Them Eat Cake, we chatted with the brain behind Poppy and Mint Floral Company. Destiny Pinson shared with us the perfectly appropriate blooms for every season.
For spring, Pinson suggests lilac, hyacinth, anemones, tulips and peonies. We absolutely love these picks because they are bright, colorful and embody the best parts of the season. Pinson also noted that peonies are currently the most requested wedding flower, so adding them to a wedding bouquet keeps the bride and her wedding beautiful and on trend.
