Why i love Traveling through Louisiana

It’s twilight on the Henderson Swamp, and Jamie Bergeron and his band are busy playing at Angelle’s Whiskey River Landing.

What I’ve found out is that Louisiana is a state that can fit any mood. Not many other states can claim that. Where I grew up in New England, there wasn’t that much of a difference from border to border. Louisiana, on the other hand, can change if you just drive in one direction for 20 minutes.

As I got to know Louisiana better, my natural traveling bug got to me, and I started exploring. What I found out was that each part of Louisiana had its own unique character. Divided by the state tourism gods into Greater New Orleans, Cajun Country, Crossroads, Sportsman’s Paradise and Plantation Country, these somewhat simplistic designations are as good a place to start as any.
