Face of the Automobile Industry

Faces of Louisiana - Baton Rouge

Matt McKay

In 1973, Audubon Ford of Baton Rouge sponsored an American Legion baseball team with a young high school player by the name of Matt McKay. That sponsorship resulted in a 40-year auto industry career for McKay, current Chairman, President and CEO of All Star Automotive Group. With 13 Baton Rouge area dealerships and a product line that includes Chevrolet, Ford, Lincoln, Dodge Chrysler Jeep, Toyota, Kia, Hyundai, Volvo, and Nissan, the group offers a variety of vehicles, as well as parts and repair services. All Star Automotive employed 28 people at its founding in 1987. Today, the quality-focused group employs over 800 people, a testament to its high standards in caring for not just customers, but employees as well.
