On September 27th at the World War II Museum’s Freedom Pavilion the Boy Scouts of America will host its annual Distinguished Citizen Award honoring an individual who has demonstrated extraordinary achievements in our community.
This year’s recipient is John Georges, who has cultivated achievements in both the public and private business sectors.
A native New Orleanian, Georges has strived to maintain marked integrity within the local community. Through refined accolades of business development, faith-based initiatives, and philanthropic efforts in the arenas of education and political reform, Georges is a driving force. After graduating from Tulane University where he majored in Management with an emphasis on Accounting, John took his small family business Georges Enterprises, to a billion dollar corporation.
Generous individuals such as you are a key in our community. We hope that we can count on you to help with our mission of developing youth into future leaders.
We look forward to seeing you at this year’s event and truly appreciate your support of the Scouts.
