Celebration of Writers and Readers

This event occurs yearly, the last Saturday of February.

Sponsored by the West Feliciana Parish Friends of the Library, this 6th Annual Celebration of Writers and Readers features four published authors with roots in Louisiana.  This years featured writers are Valerie Martin,  Rodger Kamenetz, Mona Lisa Saloy and Tom Aswell.  Each speaker's presentation will focus on his creative process, inspiration and newest work.  There will be time for Q & A, a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Charles Elliott, and a book table where participants may purchase signed copies of author works.  The $35 ticket includes morning coffee, lunch, a dessert buffet and a wine reception with the authors in the beautiful Hemingbough Conference Center set on the rolling hills of the Felicianas.  Tickets must be purchased before the event by calling the West Feliciana Parish Library at 225-635-3364.
