Metropolitan is bringing you an EDM set in the middle room by None Like Joshua & Veela.

None like Joshua is a DJ and producer with over 4 million views on his Youtube channel. He's worked with EDM producers from around the world. These countries include Germany, Canada, France, South Africa, Italy, Chile, Sweden, Australia and Norway. His genre of music is trip-hop, dubstep, dance and electronica. This is his first headline DJ set in New Orleans, it’s sure to be a good show.

Veela has performed at the Victoria Electronic Music Festival (VEMF) alongside 12th Planet, Christopher Lawrence and Kill the Noise. She’s also opened for such names as Lazy Rich, JELO, Toby Emerson and Soulfix. Veela is also a vocalist. Her vocals have been featured on tracks by Ephixa, Toby Emerson, Feint, TwoThirds, Cold Blank and Blackmill. The song she collaborated with Blackmill on, "Let It Be", reached #4 most blogged song on the internet in November of 2011.

DJ Ronnie Roux bio:
In high school, he always had a liking to play the music at everyone’s house party. Stepping into the club scene as a patron, he quickly made friends with the DJ in every nightclub he went to. Then, the luckiest break ever, a resident DJ at a club he went to was ready to retire. With an offer no 19 year old guy could refuse, he took that DJ job without thinking twice. With no formal training and no clue what to do, Ronnie quickly caught on to the DJ scene. The end result of that lucky break made Ronnie Roux one of the most sought after disc jockeys in New Orleans. He’s played in the top nightclubs New Orleans has to offer. His versatility in music formats keeps him busy on the weekends with nightclubs and corporate event planners. He’s contracted with the two biggest corporate event planners in New Orleans for the busy tourism industry. Currently residing at the biggest nightclub in New Orleans, he plays a video DJ set every Saturday at Metropolitan. Whether it’s hip hop, EDM, top 40 or party rock, he can play it all.

Saturday Night Standard at Metropolitan Nightclub

Every Saturday Night the two story warehouse turns into Metropolitan nightclub and opens its doors as the premier video nightclub of New Orleans.

Two rooms filled with smoke machines, intelligent lighting and strobes set the party atmosphere. The dance music is provided by resident video DJs Wixx, TAF & Ronnie Roux. Watch the video show on one of our 7 flat screen TVs and 5 projectors.

Special guest DJs come through every few weeks. DJs such as Will Smith's Jazzy Jeff, DJ Scene and Lady Gaga's DJ, Space Cowboy.

Two different formats are offered to our customers. Top 40, Hip Hop, Mash Ups, Rock and Pop are played in one room. The second room plays the best in House, Electro, Techno, Dubstep and Breaks.

Some amenities offered are valet parking, covered walk ways, 11 bartender stations, coat check on select nights and VIP table service.
