EDITORIAL
	Errol Laborde Editor in Chief Errol Laborde holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of New Orleans and is the Editor in Chief of Renaissance Publishing. In that capacity he serves as Editor/Associate Publisher of New Orleans Magazine and Editor/ Publisher of Louisiana Life Magazine. Errol is also a producer and a regular panelist on Informed Sources, a weekly news discussion program broadcast on public television station WYES-TV, Channel 12. Errol is a three-time winner of the Alex Waller Award, the highest award given in print journalism by the New Orleans Press Club. Errol’s most recent books are Krewe: The Early Carnival from Comus to Zulu and Marched the Day God. a history of the Rex organization. In his free time he enjoys playing tennis and traveling with his wife Peggy to anywhere they can get away to, but some of his favorite spots are the Caribbean and historic locations around Louisiana. 	Morgan Packard Editor, St. Charles Avenue & New Orleans Bride Managing Editor, New Orleans Magazine Morgan Packard may not be a native New Orleanian, but with every passing day New Orleans becomes more her home. Attending Newcomb College and gaining her masters from Tulane University, Packard immersed herself in the culture and peculiarities of the Big Easy, the culmination of which was reached when she joined the staff of Renaissance Publishing in May 2006. 	Eve Kidd Crawford Editor, New Orleans Homes & Lifestyles Editor, Gulf Coast Wine + Dine Managing Editor, Louisiana Life Managing Editor, Acadiana Profile Eve Kidd Crawford graduated from Ben Franklin High School in New Orleans and went on to journalism school at the University of Missouri. After earning bachelor's and master's degrees in magazine journalism, she moved back to Mid-City with her husband, Jamie; daughter, Ruby; and enormous mutt, Loki. As the editor of New Orleans Homes and Lifestyles, she is too ashamed to have company over because her own home is full of brightly colored plastic toddler toys and spilled Cheerios. 	Sarah Ravits Associate Editor, all publications Editor, custom publications Sarah Ravits graduated from Tulane University in 2006 with degrees in English and Psychology. She has been with Renaissance Publishing since July of 2006. She manages custom publishing jobs and also writes for and edits other Renaissance Publishing titles. Her hobbies include drinking wine, seeing live music, pulling pranks on her friends, riding her bike and reading. She resides in the Garden District. 	Alex Gecan Web Editor, all publications Associate Editor, all publications Alex studied English, history and journalism at Tulane and Columbia universities, and came to the conclusion that journalism will always exist - in one medium or another - because stuff just keeps happening. He interned for Renaissance in 2008 and 2009, then performed his walkabout in the snowy Northeast before returning to New Orleans. 	Tiffani Reding Art Director, New Orleans Homes & Lifestyles, St. Charles Avenue, Louisiana Life, New Orleans Bride & OnStage Tiffani Reding is the Cajun girl of the office. She is originally from the bayou in Cut Off, Louisiana and attended Nicholls State and graduated from Delgado with a degree in visual communication. She was hired just a week before Katrina, but fortunately has been with us ever since. In her spare time she loves playing with her Yorkie-Poo, Bailey and spending time with family and friends. 	Eric Gernhauser Art Director, New Orleans Magazine Eric Gernhauser graduated from USL with a degree in advertising design in 1985. He has been designing New Orleans Magazine for more than 10 years. He married his wife, Caroline, right after Katrina on the anniversary of the day they met and had their son Henry a year later. In his spare time, Eric enjoys renovating a family home near City Park in Mid-City, playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends. 	Jenny Hronek Art Director, Custom Publishing Jenny Hronek is a Yankee. Originally from Columbus, Ohio (GO BUCKS!), she slept through community college to earn a degree in graphic design. She is married to a very wonderful pale boy named Steven. She owns two psychotic felines and a blue car. After her daily battles with QuarkXPress, Jenny likes to drink Famega, watch COPS and jump out of planes. Her ultimate goal in life is to win the lottery and learn to roll her tongue. 	Jonée Daigle Ferrand Senior Account Executive, New Orleans Magazine Jonée Daigle Ferrand is the Sales Manager for Renaissance Publishing and has been with the company for six years. She is 28 and married to her best friend, Brad Ferrand, with whom she resides in Covington, along with their kitty cat, Bella. Jonée is one of six children and recently welcomed a daughter of her own, Lilette Mae Ferrand. She enjoys working with nonprofit organizations, is a member of the Junior League of Covington and enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has been working with the company since October 2011. When she's not in the office, she can be found running the streets (literally), searching for the perfect grilled cheese and getting lost in bookstores. She believes she was born to live in Mid-City. 	Erica Northcott Adams Account Executive, New Orleans Magazine Erica Northcott Adams was born and raised in New Orleans. She attended The Academy of the Sacred Heart and LSU, where she received her B.A. in Political Science in 2001. She has been in the advertising industry for seven years. 	Katie Harrell Palazzo Senior Account Executive, New Orleans Homes and Lifestyles, Custom Publishing Katie Palazzo graduated from UNO with a degree in marketing. She is married to a great guy, Ryan, and together they have a 90-pound mutt, Max, and a son, Grady, the light of their lives. In her spare time she enjoys playing on the Ren Pubbers volleyball team, working out and having the “occasional” cocktail. 	Aimee Arceneaux Account Executive, custom publications, New Orleans Bride Aimee Arceneaux is a New Orleans native currently residing Uptown. Graduated from the University of New Orleans with a marketing degree in December 2004. Since graduating Aimee has remained in the marketing and sales field and started here in August 2007. Aimee handles all the advertising sales for the custom publications that RenPub produces. 	Jill Varney Sales Manager, St. Charles Avenue Jill Varney graduated with a degree in Communication from LSU in 2005 and attended St. Mary’s Dominican High School in Uptown New Orleans. She has been with Renaissance Publishing since August 2006 and has proudly sold ads for New Orleans Magazine, New Orleans Homes & Lifestyles and St. Charles Avenue. She is actively involved in nonprofit work, especially the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Multiple Sclerosis Society. 	Kathryn Beck Sales Manager, Louisiana Life Kathryn was born and raised in Alexandria, La. She attended LSU and received her B.S. in mass communication with an emphasis in advertising. Kathryn then moved to New York City to work at Woman’s Day magazine. After missing everything about the South, Kathryn moved to New Orleans and joined the Louisiana Life team. 	Rebecca Taylor Account Executive, Acadiana Profile Rebecca is a Lafayette native. She has worked in print media for over 12 years, including one year with Renaissance Publishing. Staci Woodward began working at Renaissance Publishing since December 2006 and loves her job. She is the proud parent of a two-and-a-half pound mini-Chihuahua named Dozer, but keep it on the D.L. … she can’t have pets in her condo. She enjoys spending time with her friends, having crawfish boils with her family and religiously watching Law & Order SVU (and the Disney Channel, shhh). She is obsessed with her godchild Shayla. 	Kristi Ferrante Executive Assistant, Office Manager Kristi Ferrante is a graduate of Cabrini High – many moons ago. She is married and has three beautiful girls and two awesome dogs. 	Tona Sawyer Receptionist, Customer Service Tona is originally from Nashville, Tenn. She decided she wasn't meant to be a country singer, so she elected instead to attend Watkins College of Art and Design to study interior design. Four years ago, seeking an adventure, she went traveling with her houseplants and cat and ended up in New Orleans. She finds the Big Easy to be the perfect combination of art, cuisine and culture.
