Editor's Note

Welcome to a new year and a new look for New Orleans Bride magazine! We have retooled some features and added others – starting with our cover – in order to serve your needs better!

I hope you noticed that our cover girl this issue is a local bride whose wedding register is included in this issue. From this issue forward, each bride who places her wedding register in New Orleans Bride will be in consideration for our cover! Congratulations to Mrs. Griffith Christy for being the first!

Not only could you be on our cover, we’re also here to answer your questions! Turn to “Weddiquette” for answers to all of those confusing etiquette problems that surround planning a wedding – just e-mail etiquette@renpubllc.com and see your question answered in our next issue.

Weddings are all about personalization and making your day as reflective of you and your financé’s personalities as it can be. Get ideas from other local brides and share how you made your day special in “Something Borrowed” – just e-mail nicole@renpubllc.com with a picture and description!

Of course, we still have all of your favorites – our wedding countdown timeline, features on beauty, fashion and flowers, a honeymoon snapshot (this issue on an African safari) and our “Ask the Experts” column (focusing on learning from bridesmaids).

Whether you’re planning a wedding right now or gathering ideas for the future, we’re here for you! If there’s something we can add or a suggestion you have, please let us know – just e-mail morgan@renpubllc.com!

We hope you enjoy New Orleans Bride as much as we enjoyed creating it for you! Congratulations and relax – getting married should be fun!
