Design Masters

Theresa Cassagne

This year, New Orleans Homes & Lifestyles presents our second annual  class of Design Masters, bringing together a wealth of diverse talents who help us to maintain, renew, rebuild and rethink our unique city.

Lance and Elizabeth Bordes, Lee Ledbetter, Caroline Ferguson, Heidi Friedler and Monique Poché Bennett help us to continue the architectural and decorative traditions of the past while formulating a new architectural and decorative vernacular for the future; Michael McClung helps us to beautify our green spaces; Michael Ward helps us to be part of the green movement; Tara Shaw and Heinz Gautschi help us to express our individuality with memorable custom-made furnishings that will last for years to come; and Drew Bevolo literally lights our way. Thanks to all 11 of our honorees. Your collective gifts enable us to sit pretty and stand proud.

Note: Honorees were picked by editorial committee. Any questions about the selection process or suggestions for next year’s honorees can be addressed to Editor
Eve Kidd Crawford at Eve@MyNewOrleans.com.
