Dina Pieri Chevalier, general manager of Pieri Tile & Marble Co., says the company prides itself on delivering top-quality materials, impeccable customer service and expert installations. “Our goal is to maintain our current reputation of being the best in the industry,” she says. Joe Pieri, the owner, and his team are well-respected by generations of homeowners and contractors alike, Chevalier says.

“Our installers are all employees of the company,” she continues. “We do not subcontract any of our work out –– this provides for quality control at every level.”

The showroom is located in Mid-City, and it offers a “wide selection of the latest trends in the stone and tile market,” Chevalier says.

What items do you carry?
We sell porcelain; ceramic; glass; and all types of natural stone, including granite, marble, travertine, limestone, flagstone, soapstone, slate –– we sell these all in tiles and in slabs. We provide the materials and the installation for floors, walls, countertops, fireplaces –– interior and exterior in all areas of the home, such as kitchens, baths, patios and backsplashes.

What kind of clientele do you appeal to?
We welcome and cater to all types of clients, from the homeowner looking for just one box of tile to the contractor building a multimillion-dollar home.

What can a customer find in your store that he or she may not be able to find elsewhere?
We have a reputation of always having the most beautiful selection of the very popular Calacatta Gold marble slabs. We also provide free estimates from plans or drawings or from actual measurements taken at the job site. (Appointments are required for estimates at the home/job site.) F
