Few decisions are as important to families as where they go for their health care needs, and that’s especially true for the health care of children. Whether a child is in need of long-term care, or just developing long-term habits for a healthy future, finding the right pediatrician is a critical step. From the most up-to-date knowledge and techniques, to the most advanced technology and equipment, pediatricians deliver a wide range of specialized medical services, helping achieve and maintain healthy young bodies. This provides peace of mind for the whole family. With some of the region’s top doctors right here in our back yard, New Orleanians have some terrific options for family health care.
Carousel Pediatrics is dedicated to providing quality care for infants, children and adolescents in the greater New Orleans area. Dr. Ellen McLean, Dr. Jeanne Rademacher and Dr. James Kent Treadway Jr. are all certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and combine years of experience with the most up-to-date methods and technologies to help their patients and families achieve and maintain lifelong health.
Childhood care is the assessment of growth and the development of children, the provisions of needed immunizations and laboratory work used to assess a child’s health status. Check-ups focus on offering an assessment of a child’s health and growth potential and providing specialized guidance aimed at better informed and more confident parents. Specific treatments needed for particular illnesses are also part of the care the doctors provide. On these visits, the pediatricians also provide parents with a plan for the child’s follow-up care. Carousel Pediatrics is conveniently located in Metairie, adjacent to East Jefferson General Hospital. Offices are located in Suite 240, on the second floor of the East Jefferson Memorial Building at 4224 Houma Blvd. in Metairie.
