We want to hear from you!

We are looking for feedback from you, our readers. Every March we feature the “Top Weekend Getaways” in New Orleans Magazine – places to go and things to see, all within a short drive of New Orleans. Last year, we featured a bike trip to Abita Brewing Co. and road trips to Henderson in St. Martin Parish, the “islands” in Iberia Parish (Avery Island and Jefferson Island), Ship Island and St. Francisville. Where are your favorite weekend destinations? These can be small towns or thriving metropolises, historical scenic tours or exciting destinations.

We are also looking for suggestions for our April issue; we want to find the under-the-radar hidden gems of New Orleans’ most infamous faubourg: the French Quarter, its underrated restaurants and bars, the tucked-away shops and the destinations that make the Vieux Carré one of our favorite places in New Orleans – tourists and all.

Email suggestions for “Top Weekend Getaways” and “Rediscovering the French Quarter” to morgan@myneworleans.com, or mail them to: 110 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Suite 123, Metairie, LA 70005.
