LifeCare at Lambeth House
Lambeth House is a community for retirees that emphasizes quality of life for varying clientele. It is the area’s only continuing care retirement community with LifeCare, designed to give independent living residents and their families peace of mind as it provides for assisted living and nursing care, if needed.
Established in 1998, Lambeth House is a nonprofit community that’s mission-driven. All earnings after expenses are reinvested in the community to benefit the residents, and therefore it provides superior staff and services.
Lambeth House is situated Uptown on Broadway Street, just steps away from the river and Audubon Park. “I love the view,” says resident Irene Hirsch. “It is quite stunning. I’m on the 11th floor, and I can see the view of the Mississippi River and Audubon Park. In fact, I take part in a walking group that meets three times a week at 7 a.m. at Audubon Park.”
Independent living at Lambeth House consists of 118 elegantly furnished homes, plus numerous common areas for recreation, relaxation and entertainment. Residents experience amenities tailored to their interests and preferences, including delicious dining, wellness programs and a full slate of engaging seminars, concerts and special events.
“For our residents, it’s the best of all worlds,” says Scott Crabtree, Lambeth House CEO. He adds, “Lambeth House offers more carefree and inspiring lifestyle, plus a real sense of assurance about what the future might bring.”
