With a mission of raising the level of performance art in St Tammany Parish, CAST teaches theater to young people and prepares them for exceptional opportunities such as scholarships, awards, and talent auditions. Since 2004, CAST has helped children and teens improve school performance, increase communication skills and boost self confidence through drama camps, acting classes, performance-based classes, singing lessons and private lessons. Upcoming: Annie Jr. will open Jan. 11, to be followed by Puss ‘n’ Boots, at Playmakers Theater in Covington.

Providing professional theater experiences for young people ages 7 to 17 in the greater New Orleans area, the theater offers a forum for collaboration of artists, designers and playwrights and enriches the entire community with its professional quality stage productions and classes.
