Founder and Artistic Director Anthony Bean has dedicated this theater to developing young talent and providing a stage where novices and professional actors may work side by side. His recent production about and starring disgraced City Councilman Oliver Thomas played to packed houses and enjoyed multiple hold-overs.

Upcoming:

“Marrero Action” (March 11-27). A drama written by New Orleans radio personality Hal Clark, directed by Anthony Bean.

“You Don’t Even Know Me!” (June 3-19). Written and directed by Anthony Bean. A musical drama that defines “swag,” the production offers a critical account of the impact of black males on society.

“Cats” (July 22-31). ABCT/NORD Summer Youth Workshop presents the world’s best-known musical.
