“Il Trovatore” (April 1-3). The perennial Verdi favorite returns courtesy of the New Orleans Opera Association, starring soprano Mary Elizabeth Williams and baritone Mark Rucker.

“An Evening with the Moody Blues” (April 27). As a part of the historic 1960s British music invasion, this group has long inspired audiences with anthems like “Nights in White Satin” and “Tuesday Afternoon,” which express universal themes of love and peace.
