Peru and Provence

Great inspiration for two small dinner parties

Machu Picchu in Peru is a magical place, and while on the way from Cusco to Machu Picchu, I picked up many items that I knew would inspire a party. Antique tiny bulls adorn many Peruvian houses in some fashion to bring good luck.
Colorful textiles feature the agriculture and farming of the region, so what a great place to begin!

Provence, France, is another favorite inspirational place – it conjures up the paintings of Cezanne and Van Gogh, fields of sunflowers and lavender, fabulous wines and hearty country food.

Choose your inspirational place, invite friends, decorate the table and cook a delicious meal together. Make it simple and fun.
