How did you start your business? After working in the local wedding industry, I saw a need for a fresh approach and a new aesthetic.

What makes you different? All of my clients receive 100 percent of my attention as I hone in on their style and bring it to life. Our arrangements are always unique.

Can you share with us some of your favorite events since you started? One was a wedding based on the HBO series “True Detective,” which was filmed locally. We used antlers, vines and teepees. Another one was Lake Bell’s wedding; it was very fun mingling with a cast like that!

Do you ever have any unusual requests? Yes! I have suspended 24 karat dipped white tulips over a dance floor, created an 11-foot-tall flower plinth encased in Plexiglas and recreated an arch from the Twilight vampire series wedding.

You have just moved into a great new location; what’s your success secret? A fantastic social media presence, my reputation locally and nationally, and too many new props in the showroom!

Is there anything new at KSW? We launched a new website called “A Wise Bride” that caters to clients looking for the KSW aesthetic at a more affordable price point. They choose from a wonderful selection of pre-set packages.

What are you excited about for 2017? One thing is a high-end local wedding that took place in March 2016 at the French Quarter Ursuline Convent. It’s going to be featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, out on March 6, 2017, and I’m thrilled!
