Friends of Jefferson the Beautiful hosted a benefit to support its beautification projects in the parish, which currently include medians on Veterans Boulevard, Terry Parkway, Whitney Avenue, Lapalco Boulevard, Causeway Boulevard and the Huey P. Long West Bridge Circle, as well as the “Tree School” educational seminar.

Gala Chairs were Lucy Thomas, Nora Vaden Holmes and Sheila Sparacio. Rob and Virginia Nelson hosted the Patron Party at their exquisite home.

At the main event, Bravo, Green Fork and Martin Wine Cellar provided fabulous fare and libations. The gala favor was an Elmer’s Gift Box.

Auction highlights included a private movie screening party for 50 guests at the Theatres at Canal Place, original artwork and sporting event tickets.

Friends of Jefferson the Beautiful raises funds to beautify Jefferson Parish by planting trees and landscaping on public properties and thoroughfares, working under a cooperative agreement with the Jefferson Parish Government.
