On October 1, the Pro Bono Project held its 22nd annual Justice for All Ball at the Audubon Tea Room.

The fundraiser was put together with the help of honorary co-chairs Paul and Donna Flower, along with committee chair Denise Redmann, Esq. During the party, guests were entertained by the music of Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers, along with the Jazzmen Brass Band and the Black Feather Mardi Gras Indians. More than 10 local restaurants provided cuisine, and cocktails were provided by Café Adelaide and the Swizzle Stick Bar.
Raffle tickets sold for $5 a piece, giving guests chances to win spa days, fitness training, fine dining, hotel stays, gift baskets, landscape services and other luxurious items.

The Justice for All Ball is an important fundraiser for the Pro Bono Project, which helps clients who don’t have the resources or understanding of a problem that requires a legal solution. Their mission is to provide free, quality civil legal services to the poor by engaging volunteer attorneys to render pro bono services in South Louisiana. The Pro Bono Project collaborates with other social service providers to improve the quality of life for clients and the community. Executive director of the Project is Rachel Piercey, who says “When cases are resolved through our efforts, we have put our clients’ lives back on track and they are then able to fully participate in strengthening
this community.”
