With a lushly renovated landscape, the New Orleans Museum of Art’s Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture
Garden provided a picturesque, romantic backdrop for the LOVE in the Garden Celebration on September 24.

At the party, which celebrated its sixth year benefiting the museum, 10 New Orleans-based artists were honored: Peggy Bishop, Joachim Casell, Mignon Faget, Bob Graham, Nuego, Thomas Mann, Edith Moseley. Jacques Soulas, Robert Tannen and Sharon Weilbacher.

Throughout the evening, guests dined on cuisine from more than 30 restaurants, sipped cocktails from the open bar and danced under the stars – the Alex Peters Band performed during the preceding patron party and Animal Krackers played for the main event.

Maria Glorioso chaired the event while Anne Gauthier, the NOMA Volunteer Committee Chair, led a crew of charitable individuals in decorating the outdoor soiree with red and orange paper flowers, tiki torches and paper lanterns which hung from the oak trees, providing an ideal ambiance for an unforgettable evening.
