Supporters of the U.S. Armed Forces came together for the “Birdies for the Brave” benefit dinner on July 17. While guests enjoyed the dinner, two Air Force Honor Guardsmen presented the “Prisoner of War/Missing in Action” ceremony, honoring those brave men lost or captured in battle. The event honored our heroes who have sacrificed their lives and livelihoods in service to our country. Throughout the evening, guests were entertained by speakers as
well as a silent auction.

Part of the PGA Tours’ national “Birdies for the Brave” program, this fundraising event underscores the PGA Tours’ mission of giving back. The organization benefits six outstanding nonprofit organizations dedicated to supporting our troops and their families. These organizations include Homes for Our Troops, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Naval Special Welfare Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project and Operation Homefront.
