New Orleans Medical Mission Services hosts their annual gala

New Orleans Medical Mission Services (NOMMS) hosted their annual fundraising gala, Mission Possible, on June 24. The event was held at Generations Hall in New Orleans and benefitted NOMMS, a nonprofit organization that donates medical services, equipment, supplies and instruments, as well as educational programs, to qualified organizations in foreign countries. NOMMS was created in 2001 by a local group of physicians and businessmen who shared this common vision. NOMMS efforts are powered by volunteers that include doctors, nurses and other medical professionals, as well as non-medical professionals.

The 2011 Mission Possible Gala Chairs were Alice Dolese and Kristie McConnell. Board members include R. Daniel
Jacob M.D.; Thomas J. Kennedy M.D.; Frederick J. Mikill II, F.L., M.I.; David E. Richards; Dana Dallas Atchison Esq.; Lisa Bazzett M.D.; Stan P. Cowley Jr. D.D.S.; Jane M. Gisevius Esq.; Christian Mayorga M.D.; Robert Normand M.D.; Holly Regina Pritchard; Ralph Senner; and Eric Tanzberger.
