Happy Halloween! There's fun stuff to do besides Frenchmen Street craziness. At Shadowbox Theatre check out Evil Dead: The Musical, a, well, musical version of the cult classic horror film. Info here.
Over at The Prytania, The Rocky Horror Picture Show screens twice tonight with a live "shadow cast." A warning that "virgins" — myne those who have never seen attended a Rocky Horror screening — might be subject to gentle hazing. Info here.

The Voodoo Experience takes over City Park again, featuring headliners Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails and The Cure. Day tickets are sold out, but weekend passes are still available. Info here.
The Mountaintop, Katori Hall's drama about the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s final night before his assassination, opens at Anthony Bean Community Theater. Info here.

If you want to get away from the commotion of New Orleans during Halloween weekend, take a ride out to Covington for the annual Harvest Cup Polo Classic. Besides polo there's also auctions, food and speciality cocktails, with proceeds benefiting charitable organizations in St. Tammany Parish. Info here.
