NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Café Normandie in the Higgins Hotel New Orleans is hosting wine dinner with Chef Virgile Brandel, and the wines of Orin Swift! There is limited seating for this six-course Louisiana seafood-inspired menu with wine pairings at each course.
This is a reprise of the restaurant’s successful dinner last May, and marks the relaunch of lunch and breakfast service daily at Café Normandie.
Guests are invited to come early and enjoy a drink prior to the dinner at Kilroy’s Lobby Bar, where live jazz will be being performed with the Reid Poole Trio.
Dinner is at 7 p.m. The hotel has easy self parking next door at The National WWII Museum garage.
Individual tickets are $150 . Tables of five or six can be reserved at a discount ($675 and $800).
Chef Virgile is a master chef, native of France, and has toured the world working in kitchens from Singapore to Miami. His creations reflect influences from many of his culinary stops, always returning to his roots in the Champagne region of France.
