New Orleans Residents: Support Children’s Hospital New Orleans at Walmart through July 31

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – With the continued impacts of COVID-19 on our community, our local children’s hospitals are playing a critical role on the front lines in caring for our youngest and most vulnerable. Now more than ever, they need our support.

To help, Walmart and Sam’s Clubs in Louisiana are once again helping raise funds for Children’s Hospital New Orleans, part of CMN Hospitals. Funds will help hospitals pay for life-saving equipment, special services such as telemedicine, cutting-edge research and more. But there’s just a few days left to help support!

Here’s How Louisiana Can Help:

To combat the continuing impact of COVID-19, now through July 31:

  • Donate at any register in a Louisiana Walmart store or Sam’s Club location (including self-checkout)
    • Customers can now “round up” their purchase to the next dollar and donate the change. What a simple way to put that spare change toward a great cause.
  • Donate online at www.HelpKidsLiveBetter.org

CMN Hospitals reports that since 1987, this campaign has raised more than $1 billion for CMN Hospitals across North America. Last year alone Walmart customers helped raise more than $236,000 for Children’s Hospital New Orleans; that amount was a portion of the more than $739,000 in donations raised on behalf of CMN Hospitals across the state in 2019 and the largest amount raised for a specific hospital in LA.
