2020 Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off To Crown New King or Queen of Louisiana Seafood During Virtual

BATON ROUGE, La (press release) – Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser and the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board are set to crown a new “King or Queen of Louisiana Seafood” for the 13th Annual Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off. Due to the current pandemic, this year’s event went virtual with each of the 10 competing chefs recording cooking demonstrations of their dishes in front of the judges to sample. New for 2020, those videos were posted to the Louisiana Seafood Facebook page for viewers to pick a “People’s Choice” winner.

Originally scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28, the announcement of the winner of the 2020 Louisiana Seafood Cook-Off and crowning of the King or Queen of Louisiana Seafood is being postponed until Monday, Nov. 2. While the announcement will happen from the Capitol Park Museum and is not open to the public, everyone can view the event virtually on the Louisiana Seafood Facebook page or the Office of the Lieutenant Governor Facebook page.
