Q: What do you enjoy most about the job?
A: The creativity. I love seeing a project evolve and come together more every day. As a builder I can visualize a project from the very start, but it’s priceless to see the look on my clients faces as they see the progress of their home.
Q: What sets you apart from your competition?
A: Both my father, who played a major role in shaping my future, and my father-in-law were contractors, so I’ve been involved in the business in one form or another my entire life. As a former finish carpenter, I also have experience doing very detailed woodwork in highly visible areas. I now bring this knowledge of the industry, skillset and attention to detail to every project we do which has allowed us to create some really unique creations for our clients.
Q: What is the best feedback you’ve ever gotten from a client?
A: I have clients who will contact me out of the blue just to say how much they adore their home and to thank us for taking the job. We always enjoy when clients are happy with their home right after construction wraps up, but it’s truly meaningful when a client continues to express how much they love their home long after it’s been completed.
Q: What is your greatest challenge or toughest project?
A: One of my biggest challenges has been working with high-profile clients who have greater expectations. When a client is accustomed to being around five-star hotels and multi-million-dollar properties, it’s really an accomplishment when we can create a home they’re happy with.
