Opening this May, Petal Salon will break the mold of the New Orleans beauty industry. Having worked in salon spaces for years where she struggled to beautifully showcase her work, owner Amanda Lee created her Instagram-worthy salon to put an end to this issue. Amanda thoughtfully designed every detail of the salon to ensure every angle of the space is gorgeous, allowing service providers to aesthetically display their work.
At just 25, Amanda has experience in almost every beauty environment you can imagine. Graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2015, she’s been a hairstylist in numerous salons, served at a makeup artist in beauty retail, worked hair and makeup in the film industry, and has an expertise in bridal hair and makeup.
As an influencer, Amanda knows that good aesthetics are crucial. “I always want the services I pay for to be an experience that I can beautifully document,” says Amanda. “Petal Salon will change the industry standards of beauty services.”
The full-service, boutique salon will offer hair, skin, and nail services, including the option to reserve the entire salon for bridal parties. Petal Salon’s flagship location will open in early May on Magazine Street in the bustling Lower Garden District.
