2026 Parade of Homes to Showcase New and Renovated Homes Across Greater New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The 2026 Parade of Homes, presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union (KFCU), is hosted annually by the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans (HBAGNO) and offers inspiration and insight for prospective homebuyers, homeowners, and industry professionals.

Organizers share the Parade of Homes is the region’s premier opportunity to tour newly built homes and experience the latest trends in residential construction and design – from “right-sized” homes showcasing natural stones, wood and layered textures to curated interiors featuring rich, earthy colors and classic, timeless pieces. This year’s homes, offering a mix of newly built and renovated homes, will showcase all the features today’s homeowners value most – functionality, style, affordability and safety. Attendees will also have the chance to connect with trusted builders, designers, lenders, and real estate professionals for expert advice.

The 2026 Parade of Homes features a curated selection of newly built and renovated homes by some of the area’s most respected builders. Homes will be open to the public on consecutive weekends starting June 20-21 and 27-28, with tours available from 1–5 p.m. each day.

New, this year: A (free) ticket will be required by each attendee to see the Parade homes. Tour tickets are complimentary, making it easy for everyone to explore and discover their dream home features. Ticketed attendees will then be able to enter a raffle for Saints tickets. More info will be displayed at each home along the Parade route. Attendees are encouraged to register here or visit www.hbagno.org for more information.

Following the in-person event, select homes will also be available for virtual viewing using Matterport 3D virtual tour technology through the New Orleans Parade of Homes mobile app and on the HBAGNO website. The free app includes home locations and directions, price ranges, builder information, sponsor and vendor listings, and the ability for attendees to vote for their favorite homes and features.

While spring and summer remain popular seasons for evaluating housing needs, the Greater New Orleans Parade of Homes continues to inspire those planning to build, renovate, or relocate as lifestyles and priorities evolve. Buyers today are seeking homes that balance style, affordability, increased space, and long-term comfort—along with safety and a strong sense of community. This year’s Parade homes span neighborhoods across the Greater New Orleans area, reflecting a wide variety of design preferences and budgets. They include River Ridge; Parks of Plaquemines; Crestmont Park, Bonnabel Place and Cottam Park in Metairie; Live Oak Manner in Westwego; Garden Park in Gretna; Water Oaks in Waggaman, English Turn and Audubon Park in New Orleans.

“The Parade of Homes is a meaningful way for us to showcase the creativity, craftsmanship, and resilience of our local building community,” said Dan Mills, CEO of HBAGNO. “As we continue to navigate ongoing housing challenges, including insurance and affordability concerns, our builders, subcontractors, and vendors remain committed to delivering innovative homes while building strong communities.”
