Brennan’s (417 Royal St.) is pulling out all the stops for Pride Month. The team is celebrating Pride with an extra colorful Bubbles at Brennan’s Happy Hour on Friday, June 7 from 4-6 p.m. There will be themed cocktails including: Poppy’s Pride – sparkling wine with cranberry and Combier Peach Liqueur; The Rainbow Rooster – house-made citrus liquor, cranberry, sparkling wine, on the rocks; Strike a Pose – Campari, sparkling wine, soda, orange slice; Flaming Sparkler – Ponchatoula strawberries, basil, bubbles; and the Coca’s Champagne Cocktail – Sparkling wine.
You’ll be able to mingle with fashion designer & Project Runway star Mondo Guerra and local Drag Queens including Coca Mesa, Laveau Contraire and Debbie With A D while they saber and sip Champagne. The Bombay Club (830 Conti St.) in celebration of National Martini Day, the Bombay Club is inviting all cocktail lovers to embark with us on a history tour exploring the evolution of this beloved cocktail. You can enjoy a complimentary Spectre Martini (courtesy of Effen Vodka) they way you like it with a garnish station. No matter if you like it extra dry, shaken or dirty, there is a martini with your name on it. The prices will range from $6 to $8 for various selections. The featured martini will continue during happy hour from June 20-23rd.
Flamingo A Go-Go (869 Magazine St.) is celebrating National Pink Flamingo Day and they are flocking out with a weekend full of flaminglin’ festivities and drink specials. It will be held on Friday June 21st through June 23rd. The Flamingle Friday drink specials include $3 beers, $4 wines, $5 froses and $5 specialty cocktails. There will even be guest bartenders from Audubon Zoo. On Saturday, they will be offering half off bottles of champagne. Sunday will feature a Flamingle Brunch. Tracey’s Original Irish Channel Bar (2604 Magazine St.) is showing its love for the pub crawl. It will be held on Saturday June 22nd from 4pm to 10pm.
