Bud Adams is the founder of the Family Barber Shop on Oak Street in the Carrollton neighborhood of New Orleans. Bud has been cutting hair for nearly 70 years, and he has been on Oak Street all seven decades. Fitting 70 years of history into one podcast was impossible, so Bud’s conversation spanned two podcasts. In this second part, Bud reminisces about how Oak Street was the place to be on Mardi Gras day. He talks about how important Swing dancing was in his life, and finally, Bud shares some great advice on how to have a happy life.
