The “Julia Jump,” in its 31st year, was held on the evening of Friday, April 4, at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans hotel. Themed, “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood” and featuring a live performance by Bobby J. and Stuff Like That, the party drew over 600 guests. The co-chairs Julia Habetz and Kendall Hales joined partygoers as they helped raised funds for the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans. Food stations were on hand to keep guests full and satisfied, while auction co-chairs Odette Rouseau and Nini Scriber presided over the variety of auction items including jewelry from Friend & Company donated for a raffle.
The mission of the Preservation Resource Center is to promote the preservation, restoration and revitalization of New Orleans’ historic architecture and neighborhoods, which is especially vital in this rebuilding era.
