Benefitting Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans, party patrons gathered on Friday, November 13 at JA BizTown on Orleans Avenue to honor this year’s six Rising Stars honorees: Kyle Berner of Feelgoodz Flip Flips; David Blossman of Abita Brewing Company; Michael Hecht of Greater New Orleans, Inc.; Peter Menge and Aaron Wolfson of The Savvy Gourmet; and Chris Schultz of Voodoo Ventures. The Bucktown Allstars kept everyone on their feet, while savory and sweet dishes from the likes of Palace Café, The Melting Pot, Vega Tapas Café, Mandina’s and K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen kept bellies full. Thanks to committee and chair members Kristen Ponthier; Tim Barkledge; Leslie Keen; Katharine Kay; Clark and Laura Todd;
Lee Anne and Craig Sciambra; and Robby and Leith Moss, this year’s party netted $60,000 for Junior Achievement of Greater New Orleans.
