Ronald Gonzales is the Executive Director for New Orleans Mission. Most people are probably unaware that  the mission does not simply house the homeless; it also helps them find jobs and improve their lives. Ron introduced me to Marcus, a young man who is currently homeless and living at the mission. Marcus is a great example of how an individual can choose to change his life and succeed against all odds. In spite of a family life that offered no support or encouragement, Marcus is putting effort into building a healthy life for himself with the help of the MIssion staff.
