Emily Valentino is general manager of City Sightseeing New Orleans. Emily describes her company's latest investment in New Orleans' hospitality industry, those big red double-decker sightseeing buses many people associate with London. Emily explains that for many years, these types of buses have offered tourists unique sightseeing perspectives in major international cities around the globe. Now, visitors to New Orleans will not only be able to experience New Orleans from the top of a tour bus in the open air, but beginning Nov. 1, 2012, international visitors will only have to turn a dial to hear the tour narratives in their own languages.
