The Heart and Soul Gala is Thursday, May 28 – get ready for a fabulous night! Thanks to Roger Ogden, Mary and Roland Kurnatowski and Carol Solomon of Peoples Health for being “on the cover”! The gala’s goal is to raise $300,000 to fund life-saving research and education for cardiovascular disease in the New Orleans area. We have all been touched in some way with a family member or friend who has heart disease; this year will celebrate the life and times of Merv Trail. This is a time when you can make a difference and have fun at the same time. Not a “stuffy, black-tie affair” this foot-stomping benefit will include an evening-long Tipitina’s Live Music Review featuring Marva Wright, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, One Accord and more!
