A note from Bev

We are very excited to feature on our cover the Great Gatsby Opera Ball, to be held April 10 at The Roosevelt New Orleans. The glamorous co-chairs Jude Swenson, Yvonne Coe, Jeanne Charlebois and Holli Ensz are promising a night that will wow you! Thanks also to honorary chairmen Gerri and Murray Valene and to Henry Shane for allowing us to shoot at his Cars of Yesteryear Museum. Another star on the cover is Mr. Shane’s 1936 Auburn Boatail Speedster, which will also be prominately featured at the fundraiser. A huge coup for the Opera Ball is a gift from famous artist Charles Reinike III who will design the cover of the invitation; he’s donating signed and numbered prints for the patrons and the original artwork will be auctioned off at the Artist Unveiling Party to held on March 7, with Angela Hill as auctioneer. The patron party starts at 6:30 p.m., so call for your tickets today at 529-2278. You don’t want to miss this spectacular evening with fabulous food, music and fun.
