We are extremely proud to present our cover for the 2008 Stone Energy Victory Ball that benefits the National World War II Museum! The men and women who serve our country in all of the armed forces are “heroes” risking their lives to defend our great country. The World War II Museum reminds us of the sacrifices these men and women continue to make for us. I am honored to have Sylvia and John Laborde and Cappy and Darlene Bisso on the cover. The theme “Thanks for the Memories” in celebration of the entertainers and music of World War II that inspired our troops and comforted them is perfect for the fundraiser on June 7! It’s black-tie, will feature Tommy Dorsey’s Orchestra, a gourmet dinner and dancing, an appearance from Carl Reiner and you’ll get a sneak peek at the Stage Door Canteen that’s under construction! Tickets start at $500 and you can sponsor a table for $5,000 and up.
Call Trish Eubanks at 527-6012 x329 for more information.

Genevieve Trimble has worked tirelessly for the New Orleans Botanical Garden, raising millions of dollars to bring our city a world-class institution before and after the storm! Paul Soniat, the fabulous director, has been with Gen from the beginning and in her honor, City Park has established The Genevieve Munson Trimble Endowment Fund! Our Garden Club, The New Orleans Town Gardeners, presented her with a generous contribution and I hope all of you will do the same. This Endowment Fund will guarantee that the garden will be protected, maintained and grow even more beautiful for years to come. Thanks to Gen Trimble for all of the gifts of her time and love she has given to our beautiful city! Please send totally
tax-deductible contributions to Genevieve M. Trimble, The New Orleans Botanical Garden Foundation, City Park, 1 Palm Drive, New Orleans, LA 70124.
