New Orleans is one of the top destinations for bachelorette trips and as the city and the country gets back to a pre-COVID normal, more groups are opting to celebrate in the Big Easy. Much like New Orleans, bachelorette trips are usually full of fun, costumes and a good theme.
One consistent local theme — whether it be for Mardi Gras, festival season or just a random weekend — is sequins.
New Orleans-based Fringe+Co recently released the caftan club, a collection of long and short sequin caftans fit for summer in the eccentric city. However, the collection sold out in less than two hours and now there is a waiting list.
Today at 2 p.m. (for those on the waitlist, 4 p.m. for everyone else) the company will release the caftan designs again for purchase. The first collection included a rainbow stripe sequin caftan, a pink sequin caftan and a few more. Current posts on the company’s Instagram page look as if the second release will have a white sequined caftan in both a long and short option, as well as silver, gold and a black and white striped option.
Instead of opting for a typical bachelorette group shirt, we suggest getting on the waitlist now and opting for fun and sparkly caftans that should be nice and cool for the rest of the summer in New Orleans.
The BACH app says that August will be the busiest month for bachelorette trips, so whether you’re at the top of the Ace Hotel or hanging by the pool at the new St. Vincent Hotel, you’re going to stand out in a sequin caftan.
Sign up for the waitlist here. The collection will release to the public at 4 p.m. on its website here.
