St. Charles Avenue

Along the Avenue April 2011

Mardi Gras is over but the memories linger on:

From the gold bean at Twelfth Night to the waning hours of Carnival night, when royalty retreated to the Queens’ Supper of Comus and Rex, it was a wonderful time.

People sang, danced, costumed, kissed, courted and curtsied with grace and abandon.

Here are just a few photos taken over the season; favorite faces among the St. Charles Avenue magazine set that need no introduction.
