Anglophiles in the Isles: Part 4

From the shores of Northern Ireland to the lush greenery of Cornwall, Great Britain has something for everyone. New Orleanians and Anglophiles alike are sure to find the perfect getaway for their honeymoon experience.

Great Britain is host to history, romance and some of the worlds favorite literary characters. In the current issue of New Orleans Bride Magazine, travel editor Becca Hensley takes readers all over the island.

We’ve visited a “Game of Thrones” -like tower in Northern Ireland, the lush 30-acre estate at Middleton Hall and finished our third part in Cornwall.

This week we are headed to Hampshire’s New Forest to experience a retreat among the trees.

Tree House Living

Hampshire’s New Forest is best known for its native breed of ponies. On its edge, Chewton Glen, a classic country house has added a coterie of treehouse suites, which meld into the forest landscape. Sleep among the branches, after a soak beneath the stars in the Treehouse Hideaway Suite. Restore at the stellar restaurant, take a cooking class, lounge in the spa — and trek the fairytale forest.
