With a Champagne Brunch
New Orleans, Louisiana (April 28, 2009) – Begue’s Restaurant in the Royal Sonesta Hotel, honors mothers with a special brunch lovingly created by Executive Sous Chef Pete Page. One of the city’s only AAA© Four Diamond restaurants, Begue’s is offering a delectable menu on Sunday May 10.
Begin your celebration with a classic New Orleans cocktail prepared to order by our expert mixologists. After glasses have been raised, let Mom ease into her special day by sampling starters like the She-Crab Bisque or a selection from the seasonal petite salad offerings.
At the carving station, offerings include an herb-butter braised Beef Tenderloin with Marchand de Vin or a crispy Roast Duck complimented with a tart dried cherry and fig glace. Veal Saltimbocca served with prosciutto, spinach, mozzarella and sage butter or a Wild Mushroom and Truffle Frittata are just some of the many entrée choices available. There’s plenty of variety from the Sonesta’s sumptuous Ravioli Station. Or just get creative at our New Orleans Seafood Omelet Station. There’s even a Sushi and Japanese Breakfast Station for the more adventurous.
Dessert can be selected from an endless assortment of sweet seductions on display at the Grande Patisserie. Even the kids will be satisfied with our Children’s Express presenting popular offerings like Begue’s Macaroni & Cheese, Chicken Nuggets, Mini-Hamburgers and our special Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches.

On Sunday, May 10th, La Cote Brasserie will be offering a special Mother’s Day Brunch & Dinner Menu.
The restaurant will be open for Brunch 11:30am-3pm and Dinner 3pm-8:30pm and serving a special 3-course menu for $45 per person
