Look Good… Feel Better Session in Conjunction with Relay For Life of New Orleans
May 6 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the American Cancer Society’s Office, 2605 River Rd.
WHAT: In conjunction with the Relay For Life of New Orleans, there will be a Look Good… Feel Better session. Look Good… Feel Better addresses the appearance-related side effects of cancer and its treatment. This free program is staffed by volunteer beauty professionals who lead small groups, through practical, hands-on experience teaching women about makeup, skin care, nail care, and ways to deal with hair loss such as with wigs, turbans, and scarves. Each woman receives a free kit of skincare and cosmetic products. It is opened to newly diagnosed women.
