A 20-year cable industry veteran, Anthony is new to Louisiana as senior vice president and region manager of Cox’s Southeast region. In this role, he is responsible for leading 1,900 employees and the day-to-day operations of six markets across three states. Strengthening connections has been a big part of Anthony’s focus at Cox, and he appreciates the rich conversations he’s shared with Cox customers, Louisiana citizens and its leaders.
For the past several years, the company has been working hard to deliver the best in smart home, smart business and smart city technologies, announcing a $10 billion investment in its products and infrastructure. Pope is actively involved with both formal and informal mentoring programs to grow talent that is reflective of the diverse communities Cox serves. He was also named one of CableFax Magazine’s 2018 Most Influential Minorities in Cable. To Cox customers statewide, Pope says, “Here’s to staying connected, Louisiana!”
