ArcGNO

ArcGNO
ArcGNO currently assists over 600 individuals – and their families – in Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, and Plaquemines parishes.

WHO WE ARE
Arc of Greater New Orleans is a local non-profit leader in advocacy and support services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Since 1953, ArcGNO has played a critical role in helping individuals and families secure opportunities to develop, function, and live to their fullest potential. ArcGNO supports individuals at home with life skills like hygiene and budgeting, offers daytime programs for health and community integration, provides job placement and employment services, and helps new parents coordinate care for infants with special needs.

HOW TO HELP
You can help by volunteering in almost any capacity imaginable (including sorting Mardi Gras beads), by hiring an ArcGNO client at your local business, by donating Mardi Gras throws in order to create jobs for individuals with intellectual disabilities, or by donating to ArcGNO. Every dollar received helps provide goods, services and a sense of belonging to the most vulnerable members of our community. For more info, go to arcgno.org or email jrobichaux@arcgno.org.
